On 15th February, pharmacy students at the KIU Western Campus held their "Mr. and Mrs. Pharmacy" contest. The contest started at 8 P.M. and lasted until the wee hours of the morning.

The event featured modeling, dancing and singing. The judges also used their platform to challenge the contestants intellectual abilities as per the theme, "Beauty & Brains."

The crowd was visibly pleased. According to the Deputy Public Relations Officer at the KIU Western Campus, Mr. Collins Kakwezi, the students were "Dressed to kill and enjoying every moment like they were without a worry in the world."

At the end of the event, the judges tallied the results. James Wambi, Diploma in Pharmacy (Year Three) and Sarah Ainembabazi, Bachelors of Pharmacy (Year two) were announced as the winners, receiving 250,000 and 400,000 shillings prize money respectively.
