Solomon Muyombya Matovu is the Deputy Director Quality Assurance, Kampala International University. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Director Quality Assurance, Kampala International University –Tanzania and also worked at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics Kampala Uganda
He has a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Kampala International University.
Solomon is an accomplished, fast, accurate and concise Statistician with a keen eye for detail. He possesses outstanding abilities in statistical data analysis, visualization, simulation, computational algorithms, data mining techniques, development of information systems and management, survey design & methodology, econometric modeling, and Modern Quality Assurance and Control in Higher Institutions of Learning.
He is a Specialist in the implementation of parsimonious sampling techniques like Lot Quality Assurance Sampling, a skill developed while working with STAR-E programs funded by USAID in Kayunga district, Uganda.
