KIU Holds Orientation for August Intake Postgraduate Students

Kyomuhendo Christine Mutumba is the Deputy Dean of Students at Kampala International University. Prior to that, she was the School Practice Supervisor at Makerere University from 2007 to 2018, and the Head of Department/lecturer at the East African University Rwanda from 20014 to 2016. She also worked as a Part time lecturer in Psychology at Kampala University from 2014 to 2017, and as an Interim Head of Department Biological Sciences at Kyambogo University from 2010 to 2014.
Christine holds a Masters of Education in Educational Psychology Makerere University. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo, and a Makerere Diploma in Education from Kabale N.T.C. she also attended a SESEMAT training, trained as Thematic and SESEMAT Curriculum Trainer, and also as a Biology Examiner at Kyambogo Kampala.
She has made publcations including a research project report submitted in partial Fulfilment for the award of Bachelor of Education at Makerere University on Solid waste management in Kalerwe, Kawempe Division, and a dissertation made in partial fulfilment for the award of Master of Education in Educational Psychology at Makerere University on Age, sex, academic performance and delinquent behavior in secondary schools.
She possesses number of skills and competences including analytical ability, report writing, guidance and counselling, decision analysis, and interpersonal leadership skills.
