Aspiring Guild Leaders Advised to Have the Proper Mindset by DSA

KIU, Western Campus – Students aspiring to be part of the next guild leadership have been advised by the Dean of Students Affairs, Ms. Florah Bamutura to have a proper mindset for leadership.

Bamutura also said they were liaising with the Electoral Commission members who were declared on Thursday, February 15th, 2024, to maintain their reputation of organizing a free and fair election.

“As administrators, we expect leaders who have a proper mindset on leadership. We expect people who are committed to work as servant leaders,” Bamutura said.

“We have been organizing free and fair elections all this while. That is why there has never been any chaos or complaints and we shall continue with this trend,” she added.

She also said it was important for the university to go through this period smoothly as leaders of the students are an important part of the university community.
