KIU Main Campus - It is the final day of the Law School Inter-Firm Moot Court Tournament at the KIU court, with euphoria feeling the air space as the final four firms lock horns in what has been termed as the clash of intellectual gladiators.

Today's event begun at exactly 10am, with the Supreme Court final where Firm P, which comprises of Emanuel Akampa, Nsereko Marvin and Twine Davis representing the Attorney general, is facing respondents Mayanja Asuman, Jonathan Areeba, Birimumaso Amani, Luboowa Dan Katwalo Bernard and Anguzu Raymond all second year first semester students at KIU law school.

According to Aliga Ronald, President KIU Law society, the winning team will be announced at the end of today. Aliga said that the best teams and speakers shall all be awarded different undisclosed prizes though the winning team is expected to run home with a coveted trophy.

‘’This is the final day and every thing will end today including announcing the winners,’’ Aliga revealed.

The moot court competition is an annual competition organized by the School of Law in conjunction with the KIU Law society and Forum For Ideas with an aim of equipping law students with a hands-on experience of the operation of court.
