Ajah Tabitha Chol Manyiel, one of the graduands at KIU's 29th graduation ceremony on Saturday 13th, July 2024 has admitted that the University greatly changed her life.

The South Sudanese International finally received her Bachelor of International Relations and Diplomatic Studies. She told us how it feels to achieve this milestone.

"It feels so good, especially being a self sponsored student who has been working very hard to make ends meet," she said.

Besides achieving her ultimate goal in Kampala, Chol is thankful to KIU for greatly transforming her life.

"KIU has changed my life greatly. I have learnt how to lead people, socialize with students from different backgrounds as well as express myself freely," she noted.

Tabitha Chol was one of the most influential students' leaders at KIU while serving as President of the KIU South Sudan Students Association (2023-2024).

"Leading the South Sudanese Students at KIU was also a very great experience for me. It taught me a lot but also opened quite a number of doors for me," she explained.

After graduation, Chol is shifting her focus towards helping her Country establish a healthy relationship with the rest of the World.

"My goal is to contribute to a positive relationship between South Sudan and the world at large," she declared.
