Today, Kampala International University (KIU) Debate Union under the leadership of Murangira Urban, is formally launching the students' association in the university community. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Finance and Administration; Dr. Janice Busingye and also the patron of the association, the University Public Relations Officer; Mr Alex Busingye, among other personalities in KIU, are there to grace the occasion. The event which is being held under the theme:

'ENHANCING ORATORY SKILL IN KAMPALA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY', is taking place at the main campus in Kansanga-Ggaba Road, Kampala. Also, during the ceremony, the pioneer leadership will be handing over the mantle to Kisembo John Guest as a new leader who will continue to explore the heights. It is pertinent to note that the KIU Debate Union recently won the AHF-Uganda Cares National Inter-University Debate, where 3 of our students emerged best speakers and the overall winners in the tournament.
