KIU, Main Campus - Kampala International University Directorate of Academic Affairs has extended the end of semester examination dates by one week.
According to an internal memo by the Office of Director Academic Affairs today morning, the exams for main campus that were supposed to start on 19th April have been pushed to 25th April 2022.
The statement notes that exams will now commence on the 25th April 2022 and end on the 8th May 2022.
Dr Julius Matsiko (in the photo), the Director for Academic Affairs at Kampala International University Main Campus said that the extension is aimed at doing Teaching and Learning mop-up for remaining academic work.
"Yes, some teaching staff requested for more time as they had unaccomplished work in teaching and learning especially for those classes with students that joined the intake a bit late." Dr Matsiko said.
He added that the move was also aimed at giving a chance to students to prepare enough and also for exams in the respective departments like colleges and finance and to get clearance examination cards.
Livingston Muhumuza a law student and Speaker of KIU Law society encouraged his fellow students to abide by the changes saying that it will help them to enhance on their preparations for exams accordingly.
We wish our students success in their forthcoming exams!
