KIU, Main Campus - Kampala International University (KIU) Pharmaceutical students have emerged winners of the Inter-University Pharmaceutical Quiz 2022 Edition. This event took place on Saturday 12th February 2022 at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).

Under their national umbrella body, the Uganda Pharmaceutical Students' Association (UPSA), KIU students together with those from Makerere University and MUST under their respective students' associations KIUPSA, MUPSA and MBUPSA organized a number of activities that started on Friday 11th February 2022.

After a series of tough competition among the universities, KIU's delegated team got to the lead and were awarded a winning medal.

As winners of this Inter-University Pharmaceutical Quiz, we are surely grateful for portraying the KIU instilled characteristics of "Exploring the Heights".

Among other several activities that were conducted was a medical outreach to Kabwohe Community in Sheema District that comprised of medical students from KIU, Makerere and Mbarara University that kicked off on Friday 11th this month, and a Pharma Sports Galla.

Students also offered free medical services to the Kabwohe Community, thereby contributing to the success of the medical outreach as a big number of the community willingly enrolled.

At the end of the event, there was an award ceremony for the Winner of UPSA Essay Writing Competition that took place at the end of last year, crowning Biira Doreen Bino, a fourth year KIU Pharmacy student.

A total number of 50 KIU Pharmacy students under their umbrella body, the Kampala International University Pharmacy Students' Association- (KIUPSA), wholeheartedly represented the university in all activities.
