In light of this, KIU has given opportunities to the business-oriented and young entrepreneurs by providing a suitable environment for them to exercise their business ideas. 

The university canteens offer a perfect opportunity for the young entrepreneurs who make a living from these ventures. These canteens are not only a source of money, but also a means of service to the university residents who buy food and snacks from the canteens. 

This indeed gives opportunity to university students, who want to carry out small scale businesses to operate within the university. Some of these businesses also include the university photocopiers and restaurants which have also created a source of income to several entrepreneurs who have strived to make a living, fend for their families, and create other businesses.

All this has greatly contributed to the personal income of the business personnel that operate within the university.
