Whatcâ¬â?cs Happening Today?

Be Humble Day, Be humble is a day to practice humility. It is not a day to talk about oneself, but a day to listen to others, appreciate their accomplishments, and learn from them. It is a day for acknowledging one's imperfections and faults and understanding that improvements can be made. In short, it is a day to be humble.

National Wildlife Day, National Wildlife Day was founded in 2005, to bring awareness to the number of endangered animals nationally, as well as globally, that need to be preserved and rescued from their demise each year, and also to acknowledge zoos and outstanding animal sanctuaries and organizations globally for their work to preserve animals and educate the population, especially children, about conservation. The day was made by Colleen Paige.

World Thinking Day, The day was originally known as Thinking Day, but it was changed to World Thinking Day in 1999. It began in 1926, at the Fourth Girl Scout International Conference, which took place at Camp Edith Macy (now the Edith Macy Conference Center) in New York State. There, delegates said there was a need for an international day for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts that would think about the spread of the groups and about others in the groups around the world, and that would give "sisters" thanks and appreciation. They decided it would take place on February 22 because Lord Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the first Boy Scout movement, and Lady Olave Baden-Powell, his wife and a World Chief Guide, were born on that date.
