KIU, Western Campus - The Western Campus has started conducting Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) today.

Specifically, students from the School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) and School of Nursing are taking their tests, which will span a week. All continuing students from SAHS and School of Biomedical Sciences, as well as Certificate and Bachelors students from School of Nursing, are expected to do the mid-term tests, but fresh year students will not take their CATs this week.

The CATs are meant to gauge the students’ astuteness in class as well as to measure their progress for the period of semester covered so far. They are one-off tests and there will be no supplementary papers for those who miss them.

Other schools are expected to start their CATs next week.
