KIU Western Campus – The Pharmacy school of the Kampala International University Western Campus is set to host the Uganda Pharmaceutical Symposium slated to take place from 1st to 5th April 2020 at Western Meridian Hotel in Bushenyi.

The symposium will be attended by various universities allover Uganda and will be held under the theme, “The role of the pharmacist in multi-disciplinary practice to achieve universal health coverage.”

Innocent Agaba, a member of KIU Pharmacy Students Association (KIUPSA) organizing committee, said the symposium will help bring students all-over Uganda together to discuss the various issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry.

“It is a privilege to host this symposium and we as pharmacy students in Uganda have to discuss how we can achieve universal health coverage so as to get the best solutions,” Agaba said.

The symposium will have a number of activities including the leaders in training main conference, sports competitions, the innovation challenge, the annual general meeting, community service, awards ceremony and a dinner.
