KIU, Western Campus – Ray Maxwell Odongo, the Health Minister in the KIU Western Campus Guild Union and the Project Manager, Lango Students Association is organizing a Charity outreach to Bushenyi Health Center IV on Friday, December 15.

Odongo says he is organizing the outreach to help out many people outside there that are not doing fine and he promises to make it a yearly charity activity in different parts of the country.

“The main purpose of the outreach is to share love with the people in the community and also give back to them through planting a smile on their faces,” Odongo says.

He says he and his team will be giving out things to use in the day-to-day lives of the patients like sugar, salt, soap, tea leaves and others.

Odongo says apart from the patients they are targeting, they will also give the facility liquid soap to help in the cleaning of the hospital.

He is travelling with a delegation of some Guild leaders and students for the outreach and he says that the act will show the community that KIU also cares about them.

Odongo has plans of starting up a charity organization. He is also the Project Coordinator of Talk to Birungi, an initiative that advocates for mental health and a peer educator with O3 PLUS.
