KIU, Main Campus – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, during his address to the nation on the state of COVID-19 in Uganda on Sunday 19th April 2020, warned the public against stickers obtained through bribes for movement with private cars.

“There are still some crooks in the society who don’t understand the value of cooperating with others,” said the President, “because you’re trying to kill Ugandans by not cooperating with the health measures.”

Museveni reminded the public not to move around unless they were delivering an essential service, as the vehicles will be confiscated if caught.

He urged the public to cooperate and follow the guidelines and measures put in place so as to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Uganda.
