On 13th February 2020, School of Economics and Management at KIU held its routine college meeting with the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs (DVC-AA), Prof O. T Arulogum, principals of the various faculties, lecturers and students in the college boardroom.

The purpose of these meetings is to improve service delivery to the students so as to enhance their learning process and better the KIU community as a whole.

Some of the issues that were addressed include; internship training, processing of results and the preparations under way for the June graduation.
The DVC-AA congratulated the staff upon ranking as the best private university and 4th best overall in Uganda according to Webometrics Ranking.

“We are competing globally, not just in Uganda or regionally. We should do more so we can get a better placement in the rankings,” Prof Arulogum said.

He also added that the university plans on moving some course modules online.
