Mukundane Charles Godfrey (Rev.), is an assistant lecturer at Kampala International University. He is a PhD Candidate at Mbarara University of Science and Technology since 2013 and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration (2010), a Bachelor of Divinity (2007), as well as a Diploma in Theology (2005) all awarded by Uganda Christian University. He also holds a certificate in Teacher Education (Grade 111 Teacher) from ITEK-the present Kyambogo University.

He is an educationist and a researcher and currently he is involved in a research looking at food insecurity and its impact to the households in Mbarara where.  He has one publication entitled- Challenges of Domestic Violence against Women, and he is currently developing another publication entitled -A Christian Ethical Journey in the Face of Modernity.

He has as well been a Lecturer at Bishop Stuart University since 2001.

Charles was also a lecturer at Uganda Bible Institute (2008-2011), a Chaplain at Eden International School in 2010 and a Teaching assistant at Bishop Stuart University between 2009-2010.

Charles as well served as a Curate at St. James Cathedral Ruharo between 2007-2008 and as Ag. Chaplain at Mbarara High School. 

He was a Lay reader in three schools All Saints Church Mbarara, Kyamugorani COU and Rwobuyenje COU. 

He was the Ag. Headteacher at Rwobuyenje P/School, aclass teacher in Kanyaryeru P/School and the Director of studies at Biharwe Moslem P/School.
