Ssewaali Mansoor is a Lecturer at Kampala International University (KIU). He holds a Masters in Economic Policy and Planning and a Bachelor of Development Economics.
Prior to joining Kampala International University Ssewaali was a lecturer at Kyambogo University Department of Economics and Statistics, School of Economics and Management. He has also been a facilitator of CPA programs at Makerere University, College of Business and Management Sciences. He also formerly served as an Assistant Lecturer College of Economics and Management at KIU. Ssewaali participated in a study on Youth Migration in Eastern and Southern Africa (YEMESA) which was conducted to find out the impact of youth migrations on employment and entrepreneurship development in Eastern and Southern Africa.
He has over 4 years’ experience in Research on topics like Gender and Enterprise Development in Africa, and Minimum Wage legislation, all geared towards exploring the possibility of fixing a minimum wage in Uganda by concentrating on all regions.
Ssewaali is a broadly informed, versatile, and analytical economics graduate with a passion for improving the economies of developing countries whilst reducing global poverty and all other forms of underdevelopment.
He is an enthusiastic, astute, knowledgeable, focused, and experienced professional who works relentlessly to maintain the academic standards at the Kampala International University (KIU) as shown through his impeccable commitment.
