MUHEREZA. T FRANKLIN is currently the Head of the Department of Economics and Applied Statistics, and the Former Administrator School of Economics at Kampala International University (KIU). He is an experienced Economist, Educationist, and Researcher who has lectured at Kampala International University for nine years, and possesses relevant skills in basic and applied research, writing, training, and lecturing at tertiary institutions and universities.
Franklin holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economics, a Bachelors of Arts with Education from Kampala International University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics.
He was a Teaching Assistant from 2010-2011, where after he was appointed to be the Faculty Administrator in 2011. He has worked as an Assistant Lecturer and has held various position which including Chairperson Department Academic Board, Chairperson curricular development and review at Departmental level, Member of the University Senate, and Chairperson of Department Disciplinary Committee.
Franklin has generated knowledge through research and has shared knowledge generated through seminars, workshops and conferences. He is also interested in training younger researchers through the supervision of Under-graduate students in universities like Kampala International University
