Alex has a wealth of experience that spans 15 years of working in administration. He is the Administrator at Main Campus, in charge of the Directorate of Higher Degrees at Kampala International University. He has over 10 years of experience as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Economics and Management.

He is passionate about research innovations and imparting knowledge to young adults that can help them become persons of substance. He offers career guidance talks to students and equips them with life skills. He has taught courses like Principles and Practice of Management, Principles of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Reward Management, Training of Trainers in HRM, Management Development Systems, Performance Management e.t.c

He is proficient in Strategic organizational planning, and analytical thinking. He is a professional Secretary and holds a Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies. Previously, he has served as the International Students Admissions Officer, Senior Administrative Assistant in the Directorate of Academic Affairs, and Examinations Officer at Kampala International University. Before, that he worked as a Human Resource officer at the Kampala Serena Hotel. He was voted KIU’s employee of the year in 2014 and has been recognized as the best employee a number of times at departmental levels.

In line with academia, Alex is also the Board Secretary at Shine Leadership International where he offers his expertise as a professional Human Resource Administrator and Secretary. He is a member of the supervisory committee of Kansanga Tertiary Institutions Community SACCO.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration-Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Human Resource Management, and a Higher Diploma in Secretarial and Office Management from Kampala International University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management Science (International Business).

He is focused to use his vast experience and knowledge to steer the Directorate of Higher Degrees and Research at KIU to greater heights.
