KWAGALA PERSIS is currently an Assistant Lecturer at Kampala International University at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has 7 years of teaching experience and research in counseling, education, and Psychology both at bachelor and diploma level. Prior to her appointment to an academic position and while she was pursuing a Master’s degree, she served as an Administrative Assistant at Kampala International University from 2012 up to February 2018 when she was elevated to the level of Assistant Lecturer. Persis holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Kampala International University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Arts in Education) from Kyambogo University. As a Lecturer, she has taught classes in Human Growth and Development, Educational Guidance and Counseling, Introduction to Child Psychology, Career life, and development and Grief and trauma counseling.
Persis is focused, hardworking, discreet and a team player. Her teaching styles inspire her students to greatness and she gets on well with colleagues. Her professional goal is to become a Professor of Psychology.
