Ms. Brenda Emilly Nyapidi is an Assistant Lecturer at Kampala International University (KIU) in the college of Law.
She holds a Mastercâ?¬â?cs Degree in Natural Resource Law, Oil and Gas Law (LLM) from KIU, a Bachelors of Law and a Diploma in Law from Law Development Center obtained in 2007.
Over time, Brenda has attained various certificates such as a Certificate Oil and Gas Training offered by Tullow Makerere School of Law (2012), Certificate of Merit câ?¬â?? The Most Exemplary Female Student from Law Development Centre (2006/2007), and a Certificate in Pedagogy Training: Effective and Quality Teaching in Kampala International University (2006).
She has worked before as an assistant Programme Manager for Sustain for Life Uganda (2014) and as a Telemarketer / Presenter, Leading Resorts - affiliated to international five-star hotel (1999-2000) where she was recognized as the best employee of the year. She also volunteered as a Counsellor, Komamboga Health Center III under Kampala City Council Authority and a branch of the Naguru Teenage Center in 2013.
She carried out various research topics on câ?¬Å?The use of drugs by Kampala street children in Kampalacâ?¬ presented to the Law Development Center for the completion of a Diploma in Law course, A dissertation on câ?¬Å?International Environmental Law and the Question of Banned Chemicals - The legal Implication of the use of DDT in Ugandacâ?¬ presented to the Kampala International University for the award of Bachelors of Law.
Brenda also made a publication in a journal on câ?¬Å?Oil and Gas câ?¬â??A Curse or a Blessing - A comparative Analysis on Botswana and Norwaycâ?¬ presented to the Kampala International University Law library.
She is interested in participating in group/ public talk shows, doing voluntary work for given communities, watching football, playing and watching volley ball, sharing life experiences and motivating other people in the community through listening to them and suggesting solutions to their problems, making friends and contributing towards children welfare.
