Richard Mugerwa is working with Kampala International University as a Monitoring Officer in the Department of Quality Assurance under the Directorate of Monitoring and Evaluation. He has held several positions in the University, some of which include; working with human resource and the Deputy Vice Chancellor on international staff. He has also worked in the community engagement and support section in Quality Assurance.
Richard holds a Masters of Art in Human Resource Management, a Hon Degree in Human Resource Management, and a Diploma in Human Resource Management, all from Kampala International University. He has also received numerous trainings involving students, lecturers and organizations, in the areas of; psychological testing, culture and productivity, academic writing and research design, negotiation and conflict management, human resource systems and planning, team building, and development among others.
He is a practicing Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with supervised training and significant field experience in human resource management and organizational development, such as strategic planning competence analysis, profiling and management, job analysis, organizational theory and analysis. He is therefore qualified in personnel management organizational behavior, industrial and personally psychology, training and development, human growth and development and business administration. He has practical experience in personnel competence profiling, identification of compostable factors, and actual job evaluation, and he also has practical experiences in training using an integrate competence management framework.
