Benard Bushoborozi is a Teaching Assistant in the department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at Kampala international University Western Campus. He is also a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Kampala International University Teaching Hospital Laboratory. Prior, He worked at Hope Clinic Lukuli in Kampala as a Laboratory Scientist from 2016 to 2017 and obtained skills in parasitology, serology, haematology and microbiology techniques.
Benard went to Ntare School from 2006 to 2009 for his O'level and Mengo Senior School from 2010 to 2011 for A'level. While at Mengo Senior School, He was awarded a certificate of service as a class captain. He also attended a short course in computer skills in 2012 .He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology which he obtained from Makerere University in 2015.He attended his Internship training at Mulago national Referral and Teaching Hospital where he attained skills in parasitology, microbiology, serology, haematology and Clinical Chemistry techniques.He also attended HIV/ART laboratory techniques course at Infectious Diseases Institute in 2017 where he obtained skills in laboratory techniques in HIV testing, HIV viral load and CD4 testing. He is also registered by Allied Health Professionals Council as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Benard is skilled in microbiology, haematology, molecular biology, serology, parasitology and clinical chemistry techniques. He also has Computer literacy in Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and internet.
Benard likes reading medical literature, reading newspapers and watching football as his hobbies.
