Asiimwe Specioza PhD is an accomplished educationist. She presently serves at Kampala International University as a Senior Lecturer and the Deputy Principal in the College of Education, Open and Distance Learning, he duties being to assist the principle of the college in overseeing the effective operation of the college, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising students on school practice, students dissertations and research projects and conducting research in the field of expertise, guiding and investigating efforts that with the utmost loyalty, Have continued making Kampala International University a prosperous institution.
Dr. Asiimwe attained her Bachelor’s Degree Ndejje University, Masters at Uganda Christian University and PhD at University of South Africa, (UNISA) respectively. In addition, she has worked with reputable institutions like Kyambogo University, Bugema University, Cavendish University and Kampala University, where she has served in senior positions.
Her teaching and areas of specialization include: Education Management, Education Planning and Administration, communication studied and school practice.
Dr. Asiimwe has her works published in several local and international journals, among which are the academic Journal of the School of Graduate Studies, the Journal of Social Science, International Journal of Humanities and Social Studies, and unpublished academic papers. She has also peer-reviewed some works and supervised both graduate and undergraduate reports from vast institutions.
Now being Deputy Principal of the College of Education, Open and Distance Learning (CEOLD) at Kampala International University, Dr Assimwe, with her vast academic and extensive experience in the field of Education is now guiding and shaping the future of academicians that will be relevant to the future needs.
