LUKENDO JOSEPHINE is an assistant lecturer
of Psychology at Kampala
International University Western Campus from 2015 to date.
Before, she was the teaching assistant in the faculty of education at the same
University. She also worked with International Medical Corps Uganda as
a Psychosocial Officer in Kyagwali Refugee Settlement Hoima.
Lukendo
is a PhD student and his research lies on the Influence of Social media on
Adolescents Psychosocial Development. She holds Master of Arts in Counselling
Psychology from Kampala International University and Bachelor of Community
Psychology from Makerere University. She has attained a number of certificates
from various trainings like Certificate of Training in Advanced Research
Methodology organised by Kampala International University, Certificate of
training on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission, Use of ARV’s and Facts
on HIV AIDS from Makerere University.
She has
carried out research on the Influence of Electronic Media on Secondary School
students discipline in Mbarara Municipality Uganda and Abstinence, being
faithful and use of condom among University students in Uganda. Lukendo
has good managerial skills, communication skills and he shares a lot of
experience with the KIU community.
