Asiimwe Paddy Junior is an Assistant Lecturer teaching undergraduate students at Kampala International University (KIU). He has taught course units such as operating systems, analysis and design, computer fundamentals, data communication and computer networks, and many others in the Information Technology Department.
Asiimwe holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, A Masters’ Degree in Data Communication and Software Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Information System all from Makerere University.
He is also a Teaching Assistant at Makerere University teaching undergraduate students. Asiimwe has also worked with Uganda Bureau of Standards (UBOS), taking part in data entry and coordinating all data entrants. He further worked with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development in charge of computer maintenance.
Paddy is a dedicated and self-motivated person with extensive experience in programming, networking, computer systems administration, and information systems. He possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate concisely and articulately with students and colleagues alike. He is a team player and enjoys being part of a successful and productive team while demonstrating strong leadership potential in a highly competitive and demanding teaching industry sector
