Terry Kahuma Ph.D., is a senior lecturer in the department of Electrical Telecom and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Kampala International University.
He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Option: Power Systems from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Option: Power Systems from the University of lfe, Nigeria, and a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda.
His key technical skills include; Computer Aided Drawing (AUTOCAD), Power system Analysis software, High voltage testing system toolkit, Generator, Transformer maintenance, Substation construction among others. In addition, he has keen research interest in Power systems, particularly technologies for quality improvement in distribution systems.
With all his strong foundation and vast experience in the field of Electrical Telecom and Computer Engineering, he is in the right position to guide and shape the minds of the future as well as creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!
