Ms. NANSAMBA
Ritah is an assistant Lecturer in the Department of Human
resource and supplies management at Kampala International
University's main campus, I am a self-driven, conscientious and
professional Secondary Geography as well as Religious Education
Teacher, Assistant Lecturer in the College of Economics and
Management, with an administration background. I am a creative,
easy-going, open-minded individual, meticulous, hardworking, and
intelligent above all with a high degree of integrity always seeking
new challenges. I am also an energetic, flexible team player who
enjoys sharing and collaborating with colleagues from different
cultural backgrounds.
With
Great organizational skills acquired from years of teaching
experience, extensive knowledge of teaching the Ordinary and
Advanced-Level Geography and Religious Education syllabi, Proficiency
in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), excellent
verbal and written communication skills, proven leadership skills to
mentor or guide staff cultivated from serving as Head of Department,
able to adapt to different environments and situations , a team
player and builder, more than 10 years teaching experience in
secondary level specializing in Geography and Religious education,
solid skills in training and supervising all teaching staff both at
primary and secondary level, skilled at learning new concepts
quickly, working well under pressure, and communicating ideas clearly
and effectively, skilled at peer counselling and guidance, high level
of self- assertiveness, self- esteem and critical thinker, more than
7 years’ experience in examining students at national level,
possession of solid skills in Human resource planning and management,
enthusiastic and experienced in overseas travel, strong
analytical and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal

She
holds a Masters in Management science (Human Resource Management)
conferred in March 2015. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in
human resource management (Uganda Management Institute), She also
holds a bachelor’s degree of Arts with Education specializing in
Geography and Religious Education.
In
2008-2015 she acted as a secondary school Teacher in Nateete Muslim
High School, ST. Johns Secondary School, Mukono, an Examiner for
Advanced Level with Uganda National Examination Board, Chief examiner
with Uganda Muslim teachers Association and a peer educator with
Uganda Family Planning Association of Uganda.
