TADEO MUHINDO is an Assistant lecturer at the Kampala International University (KIU) where he instructs and teaches on Decentralization and Local Government, Government and Politics and Public Policy Management, and assesses as well as monitors high level students’ career development. Muhindo is also a trainer at the Ministry of Local Government where he inducts local government leaders on governance and service delivery. He is the Vice Chairperson Board of Governors at the Kasese Secondary School where he is involved in the school’s policy making and development planning. Muhindo is a Governing Council Member and Expert on tourism research and development at the Ministry of Tourism, and the National Facilitator and Consultant on Decentralization at the Ministry of Local Government.
Muhindo holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Management Sciences; Public Administration and Management, an Advanced Master Degree in Public Administration and Management, and a 1st Class (Hon.) Bachelors Degree of Public Administration and Management which he obtained from Kampala International University (KIU) in 2017, 2013, and 2010 respectively. He has also received trainings from the Ministry of Local Government for Trainer of Trainees, the Law Development Center (LDC) for an Administrative Officer’s Law Certificate, Makerere University for a Certificate in advocacy, good governance and human rights, and the Ministry of Health for a Certificate in ‘men as partners in obstetric fistula’.
He has published a number of online and print articles and journals and has experience in procurement planning, monitoring, and evaluation as well as developing work plans and budgets in local governments. He has championed and guided several Public Private Partnered development programs between Kasese District Local Government and various Civil Society Organizations. Muhindo has a vast experience in significant programs’ formulation, strategic planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and supervises students’ research whilst conducting and disseminating research in governance areas.
