I am a librarian  by profession, holding a Post graduate Diploma in Librarianship obtained from the University of Wales, Abesrystwth,UK ,in 1971. I worked as a civil servant in the Uganda government as an Assistant Secretary from 1964-1969. I joined the Public Libraries Board where I worked as a Librarian from 1970-1973.I joined Makerere University in 1974 and worked as a librarian, then Senior Librarian up to 2005 when I retired. I joined Kampala International University in 2008 as a University Library Cataloger, a post I have held up to now. At KIU I was involved in teaching the first students of the Librarianship course.
