Barbra Nankunda is a Customer Care Officer and Administrative Assistant at Kampala International University (KIU). She is a proactive, friendly Customer Service Specialist dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations at every interaction being timely and professional with extraordinary communication skills to build and cultivate relationships to drive business retention. Her responsibilities include making and answering both local and international calls to give information where necessary, transferring calls to appropriate individuals, operating office equipment such as printers, copiers, or phone systems and arranging for repairs when equipment malfunctions, preparing and checking mails, and also preparing weekly accountability reports for the directorate activities. She has also worked as a General Cashier at Kashongi Traders and General Merchandise in Mbarara.
Barbra holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Finance from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She was also recognized as the Best Employee in Customer Care and Bursary Directorate, 2018/2019 at Kampala International University. She has excellent cash management skills, planning and management skills, excellent communication skills, and proficient computer skills. She is also highly knowledgeable and motivated, enriched with several financial management skills, and has always demonstrated attention to detail. She is a team player who is always focused and on the lookout to further her knowledge whilst seeking roles where she can utilize her education and experience to add immediate value to an organization.
