Associate Professor Lydia Emuron is the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Western Campus of Kampala International University. She has been working as Assistant Deputy Vice Chancellor of the campus since 2018. She holds a PhD in Management, Masters of Management Studies, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Business studies, Bachelor of Science, Certificate in Administrative Law and a host of other job enhancement certificates. She has risen through the academic ranks of Higher Education as Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer to her current as Associate Professor in the College of Economics and Management. Emuron has a vast experience in management across both academic and institutional management spheres at both National and International level. This gained knowledge she promises to use at the Western Campus as she steers in that capacity to Explore the Heights that Kampala International University strives to claim. She replaces Prof Patrick Kyamanywa who has served for six years. The Western Campus of Kampala International University is the Science hub of the University, housing Seven vibrant, well facilitated and subscribed to Science Units, viz; the faculty of Clinical Medicine and Dentistry, School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Nursing Sciences, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science and Technology as well as the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences. The Campus also houses the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Business and Management and the Directorate of higher Degrees and Research. The student and staff community is immensely diversified in composition and therefore befitting of its International status and high rating. Welcome to the Western Campus!
