Dr. PATRICK BRIGHT MUTEGEKI is a Lecturer at the Department of Development, Conflict and Peace Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Kampala International University (KIU) since 1st, September, 2006. Prior to that, he has worked as a Part-time lecturer at Makerere University and Nkumba University. His University education journey has taken him to three universities in Africa, Europe and America. These are; Makerere University Geography Department Kampala - Uganda, Norwegian University of Science and Technology Geography Institute Trondheim - Norway and Clark University Graduate School of Geography Massachusetts - United States of America.
Mutegeki is a Fulbright International Scholar holding a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Geography specializing in; African Development, Livelihood Studies and Resistance Ecologies from the Graduate School of Geography at the Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies which he obtained from the Geography Institute at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim-Norway in 2006, and a second Master of Arts Degree in Geography specializing in; African Development, Livelihood Studies and Resistance Ecologies from the Graduate School of Geography at the Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.
