OKELLO MOSES is an Assistant Lecturer and the Departmental Examination Coordinator in the Department of Economics and Statistics at Kampala International University (KIU). His responsibilities include the supervision and mentorship of young academics, teaching, training, capacity building and coaching of undergraduate students in matters consistent with statistics and economics, development and continuous improvement of the curricular for statistics and economics, research and publication of academic articles and /books in his area of specialization, and assessment of learners and management of examination processes and dissemination of results.
Moses holds a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from Kampala International University. He has attended and participated in a 2016 Pedagogy Training/Workshop under the theme: “Effective and Quality Teaching in Kampala International University: A Roadmap to ISO Certification.” He has also trained in project planning and management with Data Capital International at Makerere University, and is a Member of Uganda Statistical Society (U.S.S).
He is a proficient statistician and research assistant with a proven track record of management of huge volumes of databases including; entry, validation, analysis, interpretation, and an extensive experience in teaching, training and capacity building. He possesses IT skills, computer skills, problem solving skills, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
