Mr. Theophilus Pius is a staff of Kampala International University Teaching Hospital, Ishaka-Bushenyi, Uganda since 2015.
He has exceptional knowledge and experience in conducting Microbiological tests, Parasitological test, Haematological tests, Chemical pathology tests, Histopathology, Quality control and assurance, and Molecular biology techniques.
Pius has also got demonstrable teaching skills in all areas of Medical Laboratory Profession such as Microbiology, Haematology, Parasitology, Mycology, Virology, Immunology, Bacteriology, and Organizing practicals for students, Research Methodology among others.
In 2016, he was awarded a Certificate of active participation in the annual Allied Health Science Seminar held on the 19th November, 2016 at KIU-TH Conference hall. The area of coverage was Surgery, Medicine, Radiography and Differential diagnosis and in 2017, he received a Certificate of recognition by KIU-TH and KIU-WC for outstanding performance for that year.
He has Co-Authored in three published health research works, Authored three health research publications (not yet published) and supervised two research works (also not yet published).
He has a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS)- 2015 from KIU, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)- 2006 from College of Health Science and Technology Makarfi, Kaduna State- Nigeria and he is currently pursuing Masters of Public Health (MPH) from KIU- WC.
He was born on 28th June, 1989 in Kaduna North, Nigeria and his hobbies are playing football, reading, writing, listening to music and traveling.
