MARY ATUHAIRE is the Associate Director of Admissions at the Kampala International University – Western Campus (KIU-WC). Prior to that, she was the Assistant Lecturer Faculty of Business and Management, and also worked as the Ag. Librarian (Reserve Section) before that.
Mary holds a PhD in Management Science, and a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Management, from the Kampala International University – Western Campus. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Development Studies from Mbarara University Of Science And Technology, and a Certificate in Administrative Law from Makerere Law Development Centre.
In 2006, she worked with World Bank Project in Local Governance and Decentralization at Bushenyi District Headquarters western Uganda, and in 2005, participated in strengthening decentralization in Uganda whilst carrying out research on awarding tenders for the Bushenyi District Local Government sponsored by United States Agency for International Development (USAID). She also participated in EPI Coverage Survey 2005 that was responsible for kicking Polio out of Uganda, sponsored by the Ministry of Health Uganda, under Bushenyi District Local Government.
Mary has been awarded a certificate of participating in empowering the youth against HIV/AIDS with a spirit of volunteerism under Aids Challenge Youth Council (ACYC), and a certificate of good dedicated service as a minister for Games and Sports at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She loves to socialize, share, read novels, newspapers, and magazines in her free time as they help refresh the mind so as to gain new knowledge and insights.
