Sr. Peter – Paul Nakitende is the Deputy Director academic affairs - Examinations at the Kampala International University-Western Campus (KIU-WC). She is also the Chairperson of the Student’s Disciplinary Committee, the Secretary of the Curriculum Committee, the Secretary of Academic Management Board, the Secretary of Deans and Directors’ Forum, and a Member of the Quality Assurance Committee at the institution.
She holds a MAED in Education Leadership Track from Walsh University in Ohio (USA), a Masters in Business Administration from Uganda Martyrs University (Nkonzi-Uganda), and Bachelors in Business Administration from the University Of East London (England). She also possesses an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, a Diploma 1& 2 in Business Administration, and a Certificate in Business Administration, all from the Association Of Business Executives in England. She has gained awards for in guiding pilgrims through Ethiopia, Egypt, Jerusalem, and Palestine since 1996 to 2018 by Dove Tour - Jerusalem Travel Bureau, participating in International Projects Coordination for African Countries since 2008 to 2018 by Espiritu Development Foundation Ltd (USA), and an award of trophy and Bronze medal for winning the 2nd position in Business simulation training and competition in 2017 by Kampala International University. She also received an award for serving in the Wecop Development Foundation Ltd in Uganda from 2000 to 2008, and participating in ACWECA training programs in Holistic Women Empowerment in Finance Management in Nigeria from 2000 to 2003.
Nakitende has carried out research on Stakeholders’ Perception on Liberalization Policy of Higher Education in the Selected Universities in Uganda, and Financial Management Systems – A Major Challenge To Empowering Stakeholders Within The Religious Founded Organizations; A Case Study of Good Samaritan And L’arche Organizations in Kampala Archdiocese. She has also published works of musical art like the Uganda Catholic Social Training Centre Anthem, the Good Samaritan Sisters Anthem, and the Wecop Development Foundation Ltd Anthem.
Her areas of expertise lie in Corporate Strategic Management, International Business (Case Study), Management Organization, Strategic Human Resource Management, Strategic Marketing, Project Management, and Financial Management. She majorly teaches Management Theory and Practice, Principles of Business Administration, Organizational Theory & Behaviour, Customer Care, Communication Skills, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, Project management, Management Accounting, Entrepreneurship and innovations.
