ARINDA BOAZ is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Basic Science, Faculty of Science and Technology of Kampala International University - Western Campus (KIU-WC). He handles a number of course units including Applied Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Electronics, Solid State Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Classical Mechanics, Properties of Matter, Instrumentation, Waves and Optics, solar energy, environmental physics among others
Boaz holds a Master of Science in Physics from Mbarara University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science with Education in Physics and Mathematics from Kyambogo University.
He is currently carrying out research on the Design of an Automatic Transfer Switch for a Hybrid Power System containing three power sources of HEP, solar and Wind for publication. He is also currently working on the concept paper for PhD Admission of Mbarara University of Science and Technology titled “Design of Automatic Transmission Network System Using Fuzzy Logic Technique”.
Boaz enjoys reading, researching, playing football, touring new areas of improved technology in his free time, but most importantly, endeavours to serve the KIU Community in his capacity with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and transparency
