Immaculate Emurugat Azabo, PhD, is currently a senior lecturer at Kampala International University's Open Distance and E-Learning College, where her duties include lecturing graduate and post-graduate students, supervising thesis and research projects for students, and conducting research in her field of expertise.
Dr. Azabo graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education Policy Planning and Management from Kyambogo University and from Kampala International University with a PhD in Management Science (Education Administration). She has worked with different educational constitutions making her an expert in what she does.
Her teaching and research interests are Education management, Policy planning, Child-focused research in education. She also volunteered and received an award of volunteer research trainer/advisor-Afri-child centre –Kampala, offering volunteer career services to children and getting volunteer career services to children and getting internship and placement for graduates handling child research grant of 20,000,000 was awarded.
Dr Azabo has her work published in journals, locally and internationally, among which are the Integrity Journal of Education. Her works have attracted attention from readers. She has also supervised five masters’ students and guided them through their dissertations.
Dr. Azabo is directing and influencing the minds of young people through her educational experience, and she aims to reach the heights at KIU.
