KAMUSIIME JASON is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Business and management at all levels up to Masters at Kampala International University – Western Campus. Prior to that, he lectured in the Department of social sciences and Management both at bachelors and diploma levels at the Ankole Western Institute of Science and Technology (AWIST) from 2012 to 2014.
Jason holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Bishop Stuart University, a Certificate in Administrative Law from Law Development Centre, and a Bachelors of Public Administration & Management from Uganda Christian University.
He has have presented a paper to the seminar series arranged by Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) in collaboration with FAFO on the topic Issues of land accessibility and retention among the Rwandan Diaspora community in Uganda which is under editing for publication. He has also done research on agriculture enterprise developments and wealth accumulation among the community members (Ndekye sub county, Rubirizi district), and is currently working on the linkages of decentralization and social economic growth in Uganda: a case of greater Bushenyi districts for his PhD thesis.
He possesses a number of skills including counselling and guidance skills, community development skills and ideas, is not afraid of challenges, has high self esteem and confidence, has extensive knowledge in public administration and management, and is highly collaborative and able to thrive in a demanding, fast –paced environment.
