Bachelor of Guidance and Counseling
Admission Requirements
The University Regulations and Guidelines for Bachelors of Kampala International University shall will apply with regard to application, registration, examinations, research and graduation. A student will be required to take counseling foundation courses in addition to other relevant courses as will be shown in the preceding pages.
An applicant must satisfy any of the following minimum requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Guidance and Counseling Programme.
Candidates admitted to the programme must be holders of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent, at least two principle passes in the relevant subjects.
Either
Holdersof relevant diplomas in related subjects from Kampala International University or any other recognized institutions will be legible for admission to the degree course. Or
A holder of any other qualification accepted by the University Senate in consultation with the National Council for Higher Education.
Enrollment Types
The shall be four categories of enrollments as follows;
Full time day enrolled students; who shall attend classes from 8:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Friday.
Part time evening enrolled students; who shall attend classed between classes between 5:00pm to 10:00pm from Monday to Friday. Part time weekend enrolled students: who shall attend classed between classes from 8:00am to 06:00pm on Saturday and Sundays.
