Patience Twinamatsiko is an Admissions Officer at Kampala International University (KIU). She is responsible of providing information to prospective customers particularly students on progra offered, admission procedure, eligibility and tuition structure of the institution (KIU). She verifies applications of prospective students based on the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) standard criteria, and also, offers career guidance to students to assist them in understanding their goals in line with the relevant programs. She also arranges orientation programs for new students as well as educational workshops for continuing students.  

Patience holds a Bachelor of Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Makerere University.  

She is a highly organized and energetic worker with passion for excellence, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. She has the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks whilst staying calm under pressure. Patience has proven leadership skills involving managing, developing and motivating tea to achieve desired objectives.  

In 2018, Patience participated in the National Council for Higher Education Academic exhibition which attracted a big number of new student enrolments both locally and internationally. She has established a cordial working relationship with other University Directorates. During the 2018/19 academic year, she facilitated in the orientation of new students to the institution (KIU), and  organized a successful workshop on self-motivation which promoted a positive work attitude among the staff. She also worked as a personnel and administrator at Multiplex Ltd for 10 years before joining KIU in June 2017.  

She has strong analytical and problem solving skills, proficiency in HR Management systems, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and organizational and planning skills.
