Ms. Namakula Proscovia Magoba is a proactive and enthusiastic professional teacher with a vast teaching experience of over 20 years. She is an administrator with extensive expertise in management and administration, Program design implementation, monitoring and evaluation; office and human resource management operations, business management and marketing skills, training and mentoring, gender, HIV/AIDS and leadership PHD câ?¬â?? Entrepreneurship.
She holds a Mastercâ?¬â?cs in Business Administration (Small Business Management), from Makerere University- 2004, Bachelor of Education (Business Education)- 1996, and a Diploma in Secondary Education (Business Education)- 1991 from the Institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo.
She began her career as a Teacher at Bombo Senior Secondary school (1991 -1992). She then became an Assistant Lecture at both National College of Business Studies (1993 -1997) and Makerere University Business school (1997-2003).
Proscovia later became a Lecturer at Tororo Uganda College of Commerce (2003 câ?¬â?? 2004, 2006 câ?¬â?? 2008). In 2001, she joined Kampala International University as a Lecturer and also took up the role of Departmental Examination Coordinator in 2016.
She has carried out a number of research work like, Motivational Factors Affecting the Performance of Academic Staff Of NCBS, Determinants of Effectiveness of MFI Loans Among Selected Small Businesses in Mpigi And Kampala Districts, An Assessment of Female Owned Businesses in Kiira Sub-County.
