KIU, Main Campus – My name is Sserugo Peter and I am ecstatic about finally graduating! I have been pursuing a Bachelor in Mass Communication, and I got a CGPA of 4.4, a first-class. I honestly thank God for helping me achieve such a feat.
The opportunities that Kampala International University has provided us over the years also humble me. From the state of the art, Idd Basajjabalaba Memorial library (IBML) to the Comms Lab dedicated to Mass Communications students, which have all been instrumental in our research and technical work.
Additionally, I am glad that KIU offers half bursaries to students from humble backgrounds on merit. This has helped me and thousands of other students to access higher education and look at me now! This exposure has helped me land a job at the Ministry of ICT and I look forward to working in the field of journalism as well, where my passion lies.
Besides, I am thinking of doing a postgraduate course and I believe that I'll be back here, God willing.
Mr Sserugo Peter is among the first-class students who will be graduating on our 25th graduation, scheduled for Saturday 11th June 2022.
Congratulations Peter
