KIU, Main Campus - Former KIU Tooro Students Association President, Nicholas Mugume, has donated fees and scholastic materials to the disadvantaged school-going children in Kyenjojo district. He did this in a bid to support education and to also contribute towards building human resource for Tooro region.

While speaking to children and their parents at Kidudu Primary School in Kyenjojo district, Mugume said that the donation was part of his termly contribution to the less advantaged learners in Kyenjojo district.

"This donation intends to fulfil my termly contribution to the less advantaged learners in my lovely district," Mugume disclosed.

"I plan to extend my contribution to other districts in Tooro region too so that we are able to build sustainable human resources in the region," he added.

Mugume, a member of the class of 2019, graduated from KIU with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Social Administration in November of the same year. He is one of the explorers who are trying to create an impact in their various communities.
