KIU hosted a moot between KIU Law Students and representatives from the Law Development Center (LDC) in the KIU moot court.
Tebi Valentine Mbeli, Dean School of Law, during his opening remarks, encouraged students to appreciate competition and always involve themselves in court processions taking place in the moot court because this elevates and builds the lawyers of tomorrow who will not theorize, but act the law.
The competition proceeded smoothly with KIU students expressing and making their submissions which then earned them certificates. A medal for Best Orator was awarded to Counsel Kushaba Kennedy, one of KIU's Law students. .
According to Nicholas, a student of law at KIU, this was a golden opportunity for the KIU Law Community to prove that they are well versed with the law. He also went further to appreciate the efforts the participants had sh own.
