“The management of KIU Western Campus and Teaching Hospital wish all our students, staff, university council members, members of the board of trustees and all our partners, stakeholders and well wishers an especially happy, blessed and reflective Easter season. This is a special Easter as we are all necessarily confined to our homes owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” Prof Kyamanywa said.

“However, it gives us a unique opportunity to be with family and to reflect on the true meaning of life and what we attach importance to,” he added.
